During the year we often go Orienteering, Mountain Walking, Rock Climbing, Dragon Boat Racing, Sailing, Canoeing, Camping, Hiking, a 7 day camp at Swanage and other interesting outdoor adventure and indoor activities!

Some weekends they may be away camping or taking part in sports activities. We also go away for a week to Summer Camp with our BB and GB friends from Romsey, Bath and Gloucestershire and have a fantastic time for an incredibly low cost!

During the dark evenings, the Terms 1-4 programmes concentrate on Boys gaining their Activity Awards and working towards the
Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. We currently have 7 young people at Bronze and Silver level. A number of our staff have the Gold and Silver awards.

We also have a quantity of canoes that need refurbishing and have spent many a pleasant evening at Saltford sailing on the river!

During the Easter holidays in 2009 we enjoyed a 5 Day training course rowing boats with the BB in Oxfordshire and look forward to doing the same with the Olympic Rowing Team trainers in 2011.

You have probably heard about our Brass Band (see photo) and Corps of Drums playing at events for local charities, schools and parades! Boys are encouraged to learn to play a musical instrument!

Don't just sit there! - Come and join us!
