Adventure > Climbing

For those that don't know what orienteering is, it can take many forms but the main idea is to find control points hidden around an area by following a map.

The control points can be as simple as a small clipper to make a mark on a record card, or as complicated as the route setter wants. The control points we'll be using all have a number, a letter and a brass rubbing plate.

The numbers are used to find the controls and the letters are to prove you've found it!

If you'd like to do the rubbings, you'll need to bring a crayon with you.

Please meet at our Church at 6pm with the kit you need (see below).
We'll return Boys to our Church for 10pm.

If you can't make it, please let Rob know (so we don't waste time waiting for you).

So, this week, you will need to bring:

  • Suitable outdoor clothing (inc. shoes which you don't mind getting muddy)
  • Waterproof
  • Drink and snack
