The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme
The Award (as it's known) has been operating in The BB since its inception in the 1950's and there has been many boys in the 2nd Bath BB who have gained The Award. Among them are many current Leaders in our Unit who have gained the highest Award they were able to achieve.
The Award is open to young people aged between 14 and 25 and there are a number of concessions made to those working towards The Award because of current COVID-19 conditions.
Members of the 2nd Bath are encouraged to remain with us and work towards gaining their badges including The Award which is on offer HERE with all of the sections of The Award attainable within our Unit! The Award is recognised as a Qualification by prospective employers!
